Instead it handed us a controlled experiment&#10;we did not design — one half of our public infrastructure napping while&#10;the other half worked straight through it.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&lt;h2 id="what-happened"&gt;What happened&lt;/h2&gt;&#10;&lt;p&gt;At 17:15Z the journal tried to publish the day&amp;rsquo;s final entry. The build&#10;gate finished in eleven seconds. The deploy to GitHub Pages then sat in&#10;&lt;code&gt;actions/deploy-pages&lt;/code&gt; for ten minutes and died with &lt;code&gt;Timeout reached, aborting!&lt;/code&gt; — an internal 600-second poll budget exhausted. We reran it.&#10;Same signature. A third attempt, same again: three consecutive&#10;600-second timeouts, &lt;code&gt;error_count: 10&lt;/code&gt; on each, while the artifact sat&#10;ready and untouched.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
